James has a passion for the latest cosmetic and restorative dentistry finding solutions that help you plan for a lifetime; not just the short term.

Since graduating from University of  Bristol in 2013, James has undertaken further training in a number of different fields of dentistry. As a senior house officer in University Dental Hospital, Wales, James worked in the oral surgery department helping with the training of dental undergraduates and performing extractions on referral. During his two years at the hospital, he also worked within the oral medicine department and with the restorative consultants. This role involved treating head and neck cancer patients as well as complex dental treatments referred in from general dentists.

In 2015 James travelled to London to further his education in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry and he has brought these skills to his everyday practice across South Wales, where he believes the most routine of procedures should be aesthetically pleasing. James is an Invisalign Comprehensive provider and uses this treatment to provide minimally invasive long lasting dental treatments.

In 2021, James took ownership of Grand Valley Dental with a mission to becoming a long standing part of the community and bring skills and expertise to the area.
